The next morning, Aisyah returned to the paddy field with Mimi, the rabbit, and the chick.
Keesokan paginya, Aisyah kembali ke sawah bersama Mimi, arnab, dan anak ayam.
The sky was bright blue, but small white clouds drifted slowly.
Langit biru cerah, tetapi awan putih kecil terapung perlahan.
As they walked between the rows of young rice plants, Mimi suddenly stopped and meowed.
Ketika mereka berjalan di celah barisan anak padi, Mimi tiba-tiba berhenti dan mengeow.
“What is it, Mimi?” Aisyah bent down. The cat pointed its paw toward the water.
“Ada apa, Mimi?” Aisyah tunduk. Kucing itu menunjuk ke arah air dengan kakinya.
In the shallow water, something shiny glistened under the sunlight.
Di dalam air cetek itu, sesuatu yang berkilau bersinar di bawah cahaya matahari.
The rabbit hopped closer and sniffed. The chick chirped curiously.
Arnab melompat rapat dan menghidu. Anak ayam berbunyi ingin tahu.
Aisyah reached in and picked up a smooth, round object.
Aisyah menyeluk dan mengambil sesuatu yang licin serta bulat.
“Wow, it’s a pearl… but how did it end up in the paddy field?” she gasped.
“Wah, ini mutiara… tapi macam mana boleh ada di sawah?” dia terkejut.
Her father, who was nearby, came over. He examined it carefully.
Ayahnya, yang berada berhampiran, datang melihat. Dia memeriksa dengan teliti.
“This is rare,” he said. “Perhaps it was carried by water from the cave stream.”
“Ini jarang berlaku,” katanya. “Mungkin ia terbawa oleh air dari aliran gua.”
The villagers soon gathered, amazed by the shiny pearl. They treated it as a sign of good fortune.
Tidak lama kemudian, penduduk kampung berkumpul, kagum dengan mutiara berkilau itu. Mereka menganggapnya sebagai tanda keberuntungan.
That evening, Aisyah held Mimi, the rabbit, and the chick close.
Petang itu, Aisyah memeluk Mimi, arnab, dan anak ayam rapat-rapat.
“Every day with you three, something magical happens,” she whispered.
“Setiap hari bersama kamu bertiga, pasti ada sesuatu yang ajaib berlaku,” bisiknya.
The cat purred, the rabbit twitched its ears, and the chick chirped softly, as if agreeing.
Kucing berdengkur, arnab menggerakkan telinganya, dan anak ayam berbunyi perlahan seolah-olah bersetuju.
Moral of the Story / Pengajaran Cerita:
Life holds many surprises when we explore with open eyes and kind hearts.
Hidup penuh kejutan apabila kita meneroka dengan mata terbuka dan hati yang baik.
