Baik, kita sambung Episod 7 — kali ini lebih mencabar kerana kampung Aisyah dilanda banjir.

It had been raining for three days without stopping.
Hujan telah turun selama tiga hari tanpa henti.
The river near the village began to rise, and the water flowed fast.
Sungai berhampiran kampung mula naik, dan air mengalir deras.
Aisyah’s father said, “We must be ready in case the water reaches our house.”
Ayah Aisyah berkata, “Kita mesti bersiap sedia kalau air sampai ke rumah kita.”
That night, the sound of rain mixed with the rushing water outside.
Malam itu, bunyi hujan bercampur dengan deruan air di luar.
Suddenly, Mimi started meowing loudly near the door.
Tiba-tiba, Mimi mula mengiau kuat di tepi pintu.
Aisyah went to check and saw water already seeping into the yard.
Aisyah pergi memeriksa dan melihat air sudah mula masuk ke halaman rumah.
“Ayah! The water is here!” she shouted.
“Ayah! Air dah sampai!” dia menjerit.
Her parents quickly gathered important things into bags.
Ibu bapanya segera mengumpulkan barang penting ke dalam beg.
Aisyah carried Mimi in her arms, wrapping her in a towel to keep her dry.
Aisyah menggendong Mimi di dalam pelukannya, membalutnya dengan tuala supaya tidak basah.
They walked carefully through the knee-deep water to the evacuation center.
Mereka berjalan berhati-hati melalui air separas lutut menuju ke pusat pemindahan.
Many villagers were already there, and some animals were kept in safe cages.
Ramai penduduk kampung sudah berada di situ, dan beberapa haiwan disimpan di dalam sangkar yang selamat.
That night, Mimi stayed close to Aisyah, both of them tired but safe.
Malam itu, Mimi duduk rapat di sisi Aisyah, kedua-duanya letih tetapi selamat.
The next day, the rain stopped, and the villagers helped each other clean their homes.
Keesokan harinya, hujan berhenti, dan penduduk kampung saling membantu membersihkan rumah mereka.
Aisyah whispered to Mimi, “We’re lucky we have each other.”
Aisyah berbisik kepada Mimi, “Kita bernasib baik kita ada satu sama lain.”
Moral of the Story / Pengajaran Cerita:
In difficult times, staying calm and helping one another keeps everyone safe.
Dalam waktu sukar, kekal tenang dan saling membantu akan membuat semua orang selamat.
