The Tortoise and the Eagle
Kura-kura
dan Helang
Once upon
a time, a tortoise looked up at an eagle soaring high in the sky.
Suatu ketika, seekor kura-kura memandang ke atas pada seekor helang yang
terbang tinggi di langit.
The
tortoise said, "How I wish I could fly like the eagle!"
Kura-kura itu berkata, "Betapa saya berharap dapat terbang seperti
helang!"
The eagle
looked down and said, "You may not be able to fly, but you can be fast on
the ground."
Helang itu memandang ke bawah dan berkata, "Kamu mungkin tidak boleh
terbang, tetapi kamu boleh bergerak pantas di darat."
The
tortoise thought about this and decided to make the most of his own abilities.
Kura-kura itu berfikir tentang ini dan memutuskan untuk memanfaatkan
kebolehannya sendiri.
The moral
of the story: Don’t envy others; make the best of what you have.
Pengajaran cerita: Jangan iri hati kepada orang lain; manfaatkan apa yang
kamu ada.
