The Monkey and the Crocodile
Monyet
dan Buaya
Once, a
monkey lived on a tree near a river. One day, a crocodile came to the riverbank
and asked the monkey for help.
Suatu ketika, seekor monyet tinggal di sebuah pokok berhampiran sungai. Suatu
hari, seekor buaya datang ke tebing sungai dan meminta pertolongan dari monyet
itu.
The
crocodile wanted to invite the monkey to his home on the other side of the
river.
Buaya itu mahu menjemput monyet itu ke rumahnya di seberang sungai.
The
monkey agreed to go but was clever enough to realize that the crocodile might
want to eat him.

So, while
crossing the river, the monkey asked the crocodile to take off his heart,
claiming it was too heavy to carry.
